Sorteilho
A beautiful and varied walk of medium difficulty. It is 10 km long and blue signposted. It is not recommended to walk this route in hot weather or after heavy rainfall.
You start at the Cave Coopérative of Saint Chinian and then it goes up steeply. The road turns into a narrow stony path through the vineyards and it continues to rise regularly. Your reward is ultimately a beautiful view of Saint Chinian and its surroundings. At point 3 we lost track and did not find the way to point 4. Instead we descended to the right from there via a steep path which apparently is also used by mountain bikers. Eventually we arrived on a well-maintained road and ended up at the Cave again.
This is route number 44 from the hiking box, but it is also described and can be downloaded at www.cirkwi.com
