The Saint Chinian valley is an ideal walking area. Whether you choose to just follow your nose, wander through the vineyards or armed with a backpack, hiking map and GPS to conquer the surrounding hills .... everything is possible!
There are signs on many places in the area that indicate walking and cycling routes. The length and difficulty are also stated. The routes are well signposted.
If you would like to take a map with you with a route description, no problem at all! We have many maps for walks and detailed maps for bicycle tours available at our B&B.
Numerous routes are also described on the internet and the GPS file can be downloaded, including a number of walks from the above box. Look at the addresses below:
We have already left many footsteps in the surroundings of Babeau-Bouldoux and Saint Chinian and can recommend, from our own experience, a number of walks in the immediate area .
Le Sentier de découverte
To have a light start, there is a small walk that starts at Le Moulin du Rocher. This is located above Saint Chinian on the D20 towards Villepassans.
You can also start this walk at Le Moulin du Rocher. He shows you a beautiful hilly area between Saint Chinian and Cébazan.
Le Dolmen Cébazan
Cébazan is on the other side of the Col de Fonjun. The dolmen route makes a tour through the hills around this place.
A nice walk through the vineyards and hills above the Cave Cooperative with beautiful views of Saint Chinian.
